- Would the SM4M replace an SM192 storage module or could I still get replacement battery for my SM192?
- How many data lines can a SM192 and a SM4M store using a simple program?
- 1.Is there software that will allow the connection of SM4M to a laptop through a USB port since laptops do not often have a 9-pin com port?

- I am looking for a net radiation and a solar radiation sensor for Idaho to be deployed during the summer and winter. Would the CNR1 be a good choice? I don't know if I will have enough power to use the heater consistently.
- How high above the ground should a net radiometer be placed?
- What kind of a regulator would you recommend if I want to set up a manually-powered generator to charge a 12-V gel battery? I have access to a 24 volt generator, but would that be too much do you think?
- I have the CH12R (12V charger/regulator). I am trying to connect it to a 17.5-V, 290-mA, 5.1-W solar panel, to keep a 12-V battery charged. I just wanted to know how to go about doing this.
- How many solar panels can be connected to a CH100 regulator? Can one 60 W solar panel and two 20 W solar panels be connected to the same regulator?
- What is the pin connection between USB and DB9 (RS-232) connectors?
- I recently bought a laptop to replace an older laptop we used to communicate with four 21X Microloggers®. I discovered the new laptop did not have an RS-232 DB-9 port, but it does have two USB ports. I understand that the CS I/O port on the 21X is not standard RS-232 protocol. Will the 17394 cable work with the 21X or do you have another cable that will? Or do I need to do something else?
- I'm looking for a wind monitor (speed and direction) that could be used with a tethered balloon system. The main feature I'm concerned with (aside from weight) is a built-in datalogger. Would you have anything that would meet this requirement or do all your systems require direct wiring to a separate datalogger.
- Can the wind monitor be used without your datalogger?
- If an existing wind set is replaced with a wind monitor (05103, 05103-45, 05106, 05305), will more than the multiplier and offset have to be changed in the data logger program?
- We have an R.M. Young marine anemometer with a cable that is about 13 ft long. We would like to extend the cable another 20 ft or so. Do you sell a separate extension cable for the anemometer?
- What is the power consumption (mA) of the 05103, 05305, and 05106 anemometers?
- What is the procedure for orienting my wind sensor to the cardinal directions so that the wind direction readings are correct?
- How can the 229 be calibrated?
- How are readings obtained from the 229?
- Is calibration of the 229 available?
