RTMC NAN alarm

Hi,

I am interested in sending out an email alert when data is "NAN".  I attempted to create an alarm within RTMC that triggers when = "NAN", but RTMC converted that "NAN" to a 0.  I know that in the event that led to my desire for an NAN alarm that the NANs recorded as 0 on the charts.  However, if that's all that's required, I don't know why my current alarm of <5.5 did not trigger it.  Any suggestions?

NAN is a string not a number, might be the issue.
