Issue in CRBasic Editor with CR6 OS 7.02

hal9000 Jan 5, 2018 10:06 AM

In revision 7.02 of CR6 operating system, a window error (generated by Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library) appears during compiling procedure in CRBasic Editor (ver. 3.7).

The message in the window is:

Debug Error!

Program: C:\Campbellsci\Lib\Compilers\CR6Comp.exe
Module: C:\Campbellsci\Lib\Compilers\CR6Comp.exe
File:

Run-Time Check Failure #3 – The variable ‘fssize’ is being used without being initialized.

(Press Retry to debug the application)

Pressing several times ‘Ignore’ the compilation process is carried out without any error.
The program is then compiled and it runs without any errors on the data logger.

This error appears in every CR6 program that uses table definition (included the default opening program template)

The same problem appears in version 32.02 of CR800 OS, but not in version 32.02 of CR1000 OS.

Thank you for attention

Alessandro

Download the OS packages from our website again and run them on your computer. There was a bug in the PC compiler. Fixed installers are posted on our website.

Hello JDavis,

I have the same error, is a problem with the Dataloggers or Loggernet?

The problem does not exist in the datalogger. It is only in Loggernet and PC400. Installing the updated compiler resolves the issue in the software.

Could you please supply the site address for these fixed installers?
