Event Description

The two-day communications course is designed for experienced users of Campbell dataloggers wanting to learn how to program for, and connect their dataloggers to, various communication networks via a number of different methods.

There are some advanced programming techniques used on the course so ideally you will have either previous experience of programming Campbell dataloggers or attended the two-day Datalogger Programming in CRBasic course and had time to practice the concepts learned (there is discount available if booked together).

The communications course covers cell phone modems, ethernet networks and spread spectrum radios, how to connect them to the datalogger and how to program for these devices to provide information over services such as email and FTP.

We also cover methods for connecting to and administering a datalogger via LoggerNet over these communications devices. Class size is limited to six to enable full support to be given to all attendees.

Lunch and training materials will be provided. The course runs from 9:30am - 5pm on both days.

Accommodation and travel is not included.

Software (LoggerNet) will be provided, on our training PCs for the duration of the training course, to continue to use LoggerNet after the training you will need to purchase a license.

When you reserve a place via this website you will receive an email letting you know your request is being processed. You will then be contact by our accounts team to arrange payment. They will then confirm your place on the course and send you your training pack. Note, until this step is complete your place is not confirmed.
